Message Well, a bunch of goodies showed up this week, more progress was made on the vg removal. If Bernie would take this damn engine soon, real progress would be made ;)

VG engine removal,

step 1:

Step 2:

done ;)

patiently waits....

Oh my :o
Twin Scroll GT4088R .95 AR, should make some nice power and provide excellent response due to the twinscroll housing (and manifold).

After buying a lot of money worth of parts I had to cheap out on the manifold... lol $100 ebay manifold. Others have reported goos results, I plan to invest $10 in bracing and it should last a while. Twin Scroll greddy copy for $100...not bad ;)

Maybe I should put it in the civic instead?

It is a anti-surge housing as well... so it should sound crazy at boost ;)

and the RB arrived not too long ago.... looks awsome and looks to have an upgraded slave cylinder... so im hoping I discover a nice clutch tomorrow :)

Tomei oil pump should arrive this week as well as the speed and sound mount kit/custom swaybar. After that I should be able to physically mount the engine. So hopefully early next week the engine will be in the car. After that I gotta figure out the radiator setup and find a way to keep a/c.

Once I get that sortec out im moving onto the wiring which hopefully won't be that big a of deal and speed and sound is going to be providing detailed instructions.

Then the last step will be custom fabbing the IC piping and the 4" exhaust which I will tie into my SpecialtyZ exhaust. So looks from the outside will remain unchanged. Might add a cutout to let it scream every once in a while ;)

that's it for know.
